Raymundo's Uber Tried To Blackmail Him With His Fiancé's Phone

Raymundo had a horrifying experience with an Uber recently. He and his fiancé took an Uber home after an event and his fiancé ended up leaving her phone in the car. They got onto their app and tracked down the Uber driver and found in the FAQs that drivers may charge $15 to return any lost items.

But when Raymundo and his fiancé contacted the Uber driver, he said that he would only return the phone to them if they sent him $100 over PayPal. He refused to hand over the phone until the payment was in his bank account. If they didn't pay the $100, the Uber driver wouldn't have returned the phone. So now, Raymundo and his fiancé are dealing Uber to get their money back after paying $85 more than necessary for her own property.
