Kimberly Williams-Paisley and her 9-1-1: Nashville co-star, Jessica Capshaw, dished about “what it’s like behind-the-scenes” of the new series.
Capshaw and Camilla Luddington, best friends and former Grey’s Anatomy co-stars, caught up with Williams-Paisley on a recent episode of their podcast, Call It What It Is. Williams-Paisley plays a 9-1-1 dispatcher and Capshaw’s sister-in-law on the series that premiered earlier this month. Throughout the podcast, the trio spoke about “behind-the-scenes” details from the show, working with award-winning artist LeAnn Rimes, Williams-Paisley’s reaction to whether husband Brad Paisley would make an appearance, teasers about what to expect next, and more. They also spoke about “how she (Williams-Paisley) feared she might never act again after losing her voice for two years.”
Capshaw, Williams-Paisley and Rimes star in the newest 9-1-1 installment alongside Chris O’Donnell, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz and Hunter McVey. Kane Brown also joined the show as a guest star. ABC describes the action-drama as “a high-octane procedural about heroic first responders, as well as their family saga of power and glamour set in one of America’s most diverse and dynamic cities.”
9-1-1: Nashville airs on ABC and is available to stream the next day on Hulu. Listen to the Call It What It Is conversation with Williams-Paisley on iHeartRadio.
