The College Majors With The Lowest Unemployment Rates

The job market isn’t the best right now. This can give you an advantage, if you’re still in college. You can see which fields have high rates of employment and which ones don’t. New analysis from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York did just that; they looked at the outcomes for recent college grads spanning more than 70 different majors.

What’d they find? Four out of ten of the majors that had the lowest unemployment rates were in the education field. That’s not all they found. Job security tends to come at cost, lower pay. Eight out of the 10 lowest-unemployment majors saw a salary under $58,000.

So, what are the college majors you may want to look at if you value job security and want to more easily find a job post college? These.
