Kane Brown went “back to the old school way of putting out music,” he said as he debuted a faith-fueled ballad that he recently teased on his social media accounts.

Brown released “Unspoken,” describing it as “a powerful message the world needs to hear,” he wrote in his caption on Wednesday evening (October 1). The award-winning artist sings that he won’t “leave a prayer left un-prayed/ I'ma let it all off my chest/ Gonna stand tall in what I say/ 'Til I'm down to my last breath/ When they lay me in that Georgia clay/ And that pinewood box is closing/ One thing that they’ll all know is/ I didn’t leave a word unspoken/ Unspoken.”

Commenters were quick to call the song “powerful,” “amazing,” predicted they’d play it “on repeat,” and more when Brown shared a sneak peek on September 17. “Unspoken” is Brown’s latest song to release since his summer anthem, “2 Pair,” and since his latest studio record, The High Road, which arrived at the beginning of the year. Brown’s 18-track album included “Fiddle in the Band,” “Miles On It” with Marshmello, “I Can Feel It,” “Body Talk” and “Do Us Apart” with wife Katelyn Brown, and more. Listen to “Unspoken” here:
