Brett Young and his wife, Taylor Mills Young, are celebrating seven years of marriage on Monday (November 3).

The “In Case You Didn’t Know” artist shared a romantic tribute to his wife on Instagram. The Youngs met through a mutual friend at Arizona State University more than a decade before tying the knot. Though they parted ways briefly when Young moved to Nashville to pursue music, the couple ultimately rekindled their relationship. They were engaged and married in 2018, and since then, they’ve welcomed two young daughters.

“It’s been a dream life being your husband for the last 7 years, but the truth is, I’ve loved you since the day I met you 17 years ago and I pinch myself everyday in disbelief that I get to love you for the rest of my life. Your love makes me better. Makes me happy. Makes me……me. The freedom you give me to be myself with you is the greatest gift I’ve ever been given. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for our babies. Thank you for this life. In my wildest imagination, I never thought anything this good and honest and pure could exist….but it does. You do. You fill up my heart and you inspire me to be the kind of man that you and our daughters can trust and respect. You are everything and I love you with all of me. Forever. Happy anniversary, pretty girl. I can’t wait to take you out for toasted ravioli to celebrate. I’ll bring the Diet Coke. LOVE YOU!”

Young recently shared stories behind his tattoos, including meaningful ones that serve as tributes to his wife and daughters. He recently got a new one that includes a Bible verse and an image of his whole family. He and Taylor are parents to daughters Presley Elizabeth Young, 6, and Rowan Marie Young, 4.

“I had such a good relationship with my dad – the father/son thing, the sports thing – I always thought that I wanted boys. And I immediately changed my mind when we had Presley,” Young previously shared in a statement. “And then there was a lot of conversation about, we’ll just keep going until we at least have one of each. But when we had Rowan, it was just confirmation that I was supposed to be a girl dad. I’m in love with it. I don’t feel the need to have a son anymore. I just love the way my relationship is with both of my daughters. It’s different. I mean, it changes you a little bit, but in a lot of good ways. I think I love differently and more deeply than I ever did before, and not just with them, but it opened my capacity to love that way in general with everybody in my life.”
