Gabby Barrett shared a new sneak peek of an unreleased ballad.
Barrett, 25, has been hinting at “the next chapter” in her career in recent months. Though she didn’t reveal the song title or a release date as of publication time on Tuesday afternoon (July 8), the country star unveiled the first verse of the song on her social media accounts: “Hey, I know that you made up your mind/ Said you didn’t mean it this time/ You’re mad and you don’t even know why/ But I ain’t begging you to stay/ I ain’t going through it again/ Makin’ up and wondering when/ You decide how it all does and doesn’t end.”
Barrett recently kicked off her “Life I’m Living Tour,” and previously confirmed an upcoming single is “gonna be a collab…I think it’ll be worth (the wait).” She also teased that “the next song coming out is giving ‘I Hope’ vibes.” Listen to Barrett’s latest sneak peek here:
